Grant Crough is the Founder and CISO of LEAP Strategies. He started his business over 15 years ago after working in Big Tech and noticing how the solutions on offer did not address the real needs of medium enterprises.

His vision “medium-sized enterprises deserve better. They should not be encumbered by the same technology requirements as Big Business. No two businesses are the same, so neither should their technology plans be identical. They need affordable and tailorable solutions that reflect the unique nature of their operating models and commercial plans.”

Grant’s approach has always been to turn the technology mindset on its head – starting with technology from a Governance, Risk, and Compliance lens, then considering what the right Hardware and Software solutions would be needed to drive the business plan. Not the other way around.

With a background in enterprise technology and engineering as well as understanding the challenges of running his own business, he offers his clients rich perspectives from both a technical and commercial lens. For Grant, success is when technology is no longer a headache for his clients; instead, they can spend their time focused on growing their business rather than putting out techno-fires.

In a world where technology changes faster than the weather, Grant’s ability to deliver innovative solutions in sustainable ways ensures businesses cannot be underestimated. His mission is to provide high-quality and value-added services that exceed expectations and generate positive outcomes underpins his success.

Grant studied Engineering (RMIT University) and Computing/Accounting (Monash University), he is also a Camp Volunteer for the Tourette Syndrome Association of Australia and in his spare time loves watching motorsports and collecting vintage cars.
