Forrest Carver is a Practice Manager in Offensive Security at Praetorian, a consulting firm dedicated to preventing cyber breaches through proactive testing. With 15 years of experience, Forrest previously served 7 years in the Department of Defense, specializing in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and red teaming. He then spent 8 years at The MITRE Corporation, focusing on offensive and defensive security, including adversary emulation, threat detection, and frameworks like CVE, ATT&CK, and D3FEND. Transitioning to Praetorian in Spring 2024, his focus is improving customer cybersecurity by emulating real-world attackers. Additionally, Forrest serves as a Cyber Warfare Officer in the US Navy Reserves.
