Jim Lippie serves as Chief Product Officer at Kaseya, the leading global provider of AI-powered cybersecurity and IT management software for managed service providers (MSPs) and small to mid-size businesses (SMBs).

Jim brings a unique perspective to the channel having served over 20 years in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) ecosystem. As the former CEO of Thrive Networks, a Boston-based MSP that experienced exponential growth during his tenure, the company sold to Staples in 2006 marking the first MSP acquisition to a Fortune 500 company. Later, as president of IndependenceIT (iIT), Lippie helped drive one of the fastest growing cloud desktop companies. He later founded the consultancy, Clarity Channel Advisors where he helped hundreds of MSPs increase sales and profits by leveraging a cloud-first strategy. He then served four years at Kaseya as GM and Senior Vice President where he oversaw the company’s global MSP community and was responsible for partner development. Most recently, Lippie led the company SaaS Alerts as CEO helping MSPs navigate a cybersecurity landscape increasingly focused on users and applications rather than traditional device-based security launching the industry’s first Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) solution purpose-built for MSPs.

After building the company to one of the fastest growing in the channel, SaaS Alerts sold to Insight Partners in 2022 and was subsequently acquired by Kaseya.
